Rokia is the mother of three children, two boys and one girl, and she has said that working has helped her family afford medicine and other necessities. Rokia enjoys listening to stories, and her favorite food is mango. Her favorite sweet is ledikeni, a Bengali sweet that is a brownish ball made of chena and flour and cooked in sugar syrup. Rokia's favorite place she has travelled to is Murshidabad, and she would like to one day travel to Darjeeling.
