ReMade currently partners with an enterprise in India, which employs over 80 local Indian women, many of whom come from lower socio-economic backgrounds. These highly-skilled artisans transform worn, vintage saris into beautiful, one-of-a-kind blankets and other products. Just like the products they create, each woman is truly unique, weaving her own life experience, personality, and culture into every stitch she hand-sews.
